Well let me get straight to the point, Rikki Rainbow is a electro-pop phenomenon that will melt your brain. I was at a Halloween party this weekend where I saw Rikki Rainbow perform for the first time. For those who don't know, Rikki Rainbow is the gay rapper alter ego of my friend Scott Ricketts. The performance was full of sass , ego, and confidence something I crave when i see a gay rapper perform. The flows and the dance moves made his persona very addicting to watch as all eyes in the tiny overheated basement were fixated on Rikki. Even meat head jock types couldn't help but cheer him on. As he is the only person on stage performing, this was very impressive to see such command over the crowd, a true MC. To best describe the music its like Lil Kim with a penis and Fruity Loops. Rikki Rainbow is a testament to how dedicated a performer can be to a character. I predict more ass shaking flow kicking house shows to come, be on the look out.
